My heart is reeling for your situation, what normally is blessed moments of peace and baby snuggles was replaced with fear and an emergency transport. God is good, he loves an underdog story, and he uses the seemingly worst conditions to bring forth his glory AND for the good of those he loves. God loves your child Benjamin more than you can. Keep serving faithfully, we will be praying with you for healing, for blessed moments with your child, for a strong witness, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding.

This shocked me, Dr Stillman. Choosing home birth in a quiet, private setting is a great decision, the same one my son and his wife made. Due to complications, they ended up with a C section in the hospital, but home births are best when possible. You crossed your Ts and dotted your Is, sometimes things just go sideways anyway.
Benjamin is being prayed for right now, by many. And you and your sweet wife. A nurse and doctor with a sick baby is hard - you know exactly what’s happening. Be strong as you can, God will handle things He sees fit. But I’m asking Him for a 100% recovery for that precious little Stillman.
Thank you for sharing so vulnerably Dr. Stillman, and will be praying!! Lord Jesus, have mercy and bring an 11th-hour miracle for this family!!! May peace cover you, grace sustain you, and may every assignment of the enemy be canceled by His blood. Amen
30 years ago, in the early morning hours of December 26th, 1994, my first child was born. He was born healthy but two years later was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and had to undergo 2 ½ years of chemotherapy. Nothing could have prepared me for the pain of watching my baby go through so many procedures (some very painful). The doctors gave us a percentage for his odds of survival and I remember feeling angry that they were putting a number on his chances. I thought I believe in an Almighty God and nothing is impossible for Him! Shortly thereafter, I came across the following scripture and clung to it. “It is He who does great things, the unfathomable, And wondrous works without number.” Job 9:10. Today I celebrated my son’s 30th birthday with him! We had people all over the country praying for him during his illness and I believe it made a difference. I am praying for your son and believe that God is with you all and will give you what you need when you need it. Dear Heavenly Father, please be with Benjamin and strengthen him and help him to make a full recovery. Please be with Dr. Stillman and his wife during this difficult time and provide everything they need. We believe You can do wonders beyond numbers and choose to trust You! In Jesus Name, Amen.
