There are many reasons why I just purchased a home in Nicaragua.
I am looking at it as an important long-term investment for both my health and my wealth.
I would recommend that you look at our retreat in Nicaragua as an investment too.
Why?
Because in seven days Jim Laird and I are going to teach you an enormous amount about how to eat, how to live, how to think, and how to move. You’re going to get a crash-course in integrative and natural medicine unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.
And if you’re a small-business owner or entrepreneur, you can justify writing this off as a business expense.
First, because Latin America is quickly becoming one of the hottest real estate markets in the world.
Second, because your health is always your most precious resource, and Jim and I are going to help you understand how to safeguard it against whatever we face in the coming years and decades.
I’m in good company when it comes to my confidence in buying a home in Latin America myself.
Mexico is now the number one second-home market for Americans.
This isn’t a second home market for people who can’t afford American homes…
It’s a market for the ultra-wealthy.
Latin America and the Caribbean have seen a greater percentage increase in ultra-wealthy residents than any other region of the world.
“I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where the puck has been.”
-Wayne Gretzky
The puck has been in the Hamptons, Malibu, and other famous beachside locations for generations.
Where is the puck going next?
Central America.
Why?
“Buy land - they’re not making it anymore.”
-Mark Twain
There is only so much beautiful beachside real estate in this world. A huge proportion of what is left is in Central America.
Most American buyers are looking at Mexico first, because they grew up going to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta.
What many of them don’t realize is that Nicaragua is safer and cheaper than Mexico.
So why buy in Mexico when you can buy in Nicaragua?
In addition, you would be shocked at the horror stories of home-buying-gone-bad in Central America.
This is why I bought from ECI Development. They’ve been developing home communities in Central America for 20 years.
If you haven’t watched the webinar Jim and I held with their founder, Mike Cobb, here it is:
You can learn more about ECI Development here.

What’s the other reason I’m serious about building a community in Nicaragua?
Because I want to surround myself with like-minded people. People who want to be free. People who don’t want to be subject to the managed decline of the United States. People who don’t want to be dependent upon a faulty electrical grid, failing municipal water supplies, or three-days worth of food in their local grocery store.
I’m so serious about this that I’m going to give away a free one-hour consult to the first eight people who sign up for the retreat. The only catch is that you must be a subscriber to this Substack. Once you’ve booked the retreat, fill out the contact form on my website (stillmanmd.com) to claim your in-person consult with me as part of your retreat package.
I’m planning on spending a significant amount of time in ECI communities in the coming years, because these communities attract people like me. Hard-working, innovative, and independent people.
