The simple framework that gets me results time after time...
The sum of 20 years of R&D in integrative medicine
Let me give you the 50,000 foot view of how I view every single case that I am consulted upon.
Strategy without tactics is the slowest road to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.

You are all chasing wellness - why else would you subscribe to a Substack like mine?
And, in the end, everyone is chasing wellness, because to be well is to be the best version of yourself. What is better than that?
If you don't already know, I'm hosting a series of webinars with Jim Laird at Stillman Wellness called, "Dr. Stillman's Wellness Secrets." We sit down every Thursday at 10 AM to review a key topic in detail, with behind-the-scenes insight and secrets that have taken me years to gain and discover. This series is exclusively for people who are subscribed to Stillman Wellness, so make sure you sign up here.
Today, however, I want to lay out for you something I have never shared publicly. It is the strategy I apply to every case I encounter in my practice. It is a unique blend of everything I have studied over the years.
The key to this strategy is to start by talking about goals.
Most people want to look and feel their best. They want to live a full, joyful life right up until it ends. They want to look as good as possible while doing it.
Spelling that out at the beginning is important. It's important because there are trade-offs between performance and longevity. The world's oldest people are not the world's top performers. They may be vigorous, strong, impressive, vibrant people, but they are not professional athletes, executives, or ambitious professionals who work late, defer self-care, and often engage in self-destructive activities professionally, recreationally, or indulgently.
This post isn't about that trade-off, because most people coming to me are interested in looking and feeling their best (we do deal with high-performers, but that's a story for another day).
What's my strategy for helping people to look and feel their best?
We might better call my strategy for this a framework.
The framework is your savior.
- Brendon Burchard
What is a framework?
This is the best definition that I could find: "A system of rules, ideas, or beliefs that is used to plan or decide something."
Every school of medicine has a framework, perhaps better called a methodology (but we are not here to split those hairs today).
What is my framework? How do I put together a coherent treatment plan for a client?
We start with the fundamentals.

Clark Engelbert and I will be hosting a webinar on hair tissue mineral analysis this Friday - make sure to sign up here! We'll touch on these issues as we discuss how minerals and metals can make or break your mental health.
And then, we go into more advanced therapeutics...
