When Kathleen Horstmeyer put on her first X39 patch, she didn't think she would be calling me in a few weeks to say, "Dr. Stillman, you're not going to believe this."
A Near-Fatal Accident
A few years prior, Kathleen had been kicked by a horse with both hind legs in the abdomen. She almost died. Fortunately, her husband looked out the window, saw her lying on the ground, called an ambulance, and got her to the hospital.
The force of the kick caused massive internal bleeding, resulting in an internal scar just under the skin that wrapped around 2/3 of her body.
Kathleen almost died. But she is a tough cookie, and it'll take more than a couple of well-placed strikes from a horse to get her to quit (she still rides horses to this day).
Meet Kathleen
Kathleen is a wife, grandmother, naturopath, registered vascular specialist (she trains doctors to read blood flow on ultrasounds), and respiratory therapist. Her husband is a medical doctor and dentist (they are a recovering overachievers).
She also has a history of cancer and has had high levels of inflammation (an elevated cardiac or high sensitivity CRP) for over a decade. Despite eating a healthy diet, living a healthy lifestyle, learning a great deal about natural health, and seeing the best doctors, she hadn't made progress on her inflammatory markers in years. She had practically given up hope that she would.
To put this in perspective, high inflammatory markers indicate an increased risk of heart disease, and likely stroke, cancer, and more. In my practice, reducing levels of inflammation as much as possible is our number one priority.
The Twelve-Day Miracle
She put on her first X39 patch, and twelve days later, her scar was gone.
Nine months later, she checked her inflammatory markers and was elated to find that they had dropped into the normal range after 15+ years of being elevated. She had significantly cut her risk for heart disease and many other chronic diseases.
