LifeWave webinar tomorrow!
The hottest new thing in phototherapy... and why I'm testing it in my practice.
There's a new product out that I think is the future of phototherapy. It's made by a company called LifeWave.
What is it and why am I taking my precious time to tell you about it?
Before I jump into that, I'll be holding a webinar with Renita Brannan during which you will get the opportunity to ask hard questions about LifeWave as a company and about their products. Register here.
One of the biggest problems in the photobiomodulation/phototherapy/low-level light therapy world is that the therapies take time and work best with an extremely specific wavelength of light. That has held the therapy back from widespread adoption. Pills, in contrast, can be bottled, shipped, and sold far, far away from where they are produced. With the exception of sunlight (the ultimate phototherapy), light comes out of electrical appliances that cost between hundreds and thousands of dollars. Professional-grade equipment runs in the tens of thousands of even hundreds of thousands of dollars (see Thor Photobiomomdulation as an example).
One of the most fascinating aspects of human biology is our capacity to make the exact frequencies of light that we use to heal. That is fundamentally what our mitochondria do when they break down food into a combination of energy and matter.
David Schmidt, founder and CEO of LifeWave, had the bright (pun intended) idea to create a patch that reflects the body's light back into it in order to stimulate stem activity.
You simply place the patch (about the size of a quarter) on your body (usually at C7 on the spine or just below the navel) and leave it on for 12 hours. Then you take it off.
That's it.
We know that conventional photobiomodulation or low-level light therapy stimulates stem cells, as you are perhaps familiar with if you're reading this (read my guide on this here).
David engineered these patches not just to reflect light back into the body, but to do so in a way that optimizes healing. It's a brilliant concept.
But I have to admit that at first the importance of this concept was lost on me, because I asked what I thought was an obvious question:
"Why can't we just tell everyone to go out and get more sunlight? Or use photobiomodulation devices like the ones I recommend here?"
Then it dawned on me that virtually all of my patients are struggling to find time to do basic things like eat enough protein and drink enough water.
I occasionally get negative feedback from readers of this blog that my recommendations are totally impractical for the average person (I get it).
That's when I realized - the patch is brilliant because it takes 2 seconds to put on and works throughout the day.
So if you're reading this and thinking, "I don't have time for a red/infrared light panel, or to get outside and sunbathe," then LifeWave products are your answer.
But how do we know if they really work?
If you know me well, you know I'm obsessed with verifying everything I endorse. My reputation is extremely important to me. So I'm not recommending this product lightly.
How did I verify that it works?
The basic science makes sense (step 1).
But if every good idea in the lab worked in practice, we would long ago have cured all diseases.
LifeWave has sponsored a number of studies (step 2) that showed positive results.
But studies can be gamed.
So I talked to friends (step 3) to see what they thought, and they have had good experiences in general.
But friends can be fooled by the placebo effect.
So I tried them myself (step 4), but the thing about me is that I'm robust enough that very little either impairs or improves my function. I recently took a transcontinental flight with a 12-hour time zone change and my heart rate variability barely budged. So I'm not a great test subject, because good or bad, it takes a lot to make an impact on my function.
So I started handing them out to patients in my practice and friends and family (step 5).
I had planned to hold off on writing about or endorsing LifeWave products until I had had a few months of research within my practice, but the simple reality of it is this.
No one has anything conclusively bad to say about the product.
There's a 100% money-back guarantee.
Some of the testimonials I heard were astounding.
Everything else checks out.
And, most of all, time is of the essence.
There's one more thing I want you to know about LifeWave, because you're bound to think twice about it sooner or later.
It's a network-marketing product, better known as a multi-level marketing product. There was a time when I swore I would never promote such a product, but then LifeWave came along and made me rethink that.
Why did I rethink it? For a few reasons. First, network-marketing got a bad reputation because some people abused it, but in our modern world of social networks, I think network-marketing is about to make a comeback due to censorship.
The people in charge (Big Pharma, Big Tech, and Big Agriculture) don't want good health and wellness products out there. They are crushing free speech in this area in particular, because of how much money they are making on chronic disease. Facebook is a great example of this - they'll ban and restrict companies for just telling the truth about their products.
The best and honestly only way past this kind of censorship is YOU. By empowering countless people to spread the word about a good product or service, that product or service can evade this censorship.
I didn't think this would be one of the ways that good companies with great products get around censorship, but here we are.
Then Renita pointed out how many middle-men network-marketing removes. When you buy any product or service, whether it's a supplement, drug, surgery, book, vacation, lab test - whatever it may be - there are a lot of middle-men. Products and services have to be developed, tested, marketed, and then they need to be serviced, repaired, refilled, or recalibrated. I know of products that are 90% mark-up, just because of the amount of money they spend on marketing. They have loads of salespeople out there pushing their products.
What exactly is wrong with turning your customers into your salespeople?
Absolutely nothing. For the sake of full transparency, I’ll make commissions on the sale of LifeWave products through the links below. There’s a 100% money-back guarantee, and if you eventually think they’re not worth the money, I want you to tell me so that I can reconsider my endorsement of their products.
I wanted to wait longer to tell you about LifeWave, so I could gather more information about this before endorsing it, but the truth is that this horse is out of the gate and if you haven’t already heard about LifeWave, you will soon, with or without me. I figure I might as well give you a candid, balanced, and honest opinion on it that isn’t just hype.
Person after person is now asking me about LifeWave, so I figure the right time to tell you all about it is now.
My personal and professional recommendation is to try them, see what you think, and then make a decision about whether or not to continue to use them. You can order LifeWave products here.
I've decided to host a webinar for you about LifeWave products. I'll be joined by my friend, Renita Brannan, who has been an exercise instructor and coach for over two decades. You'll get to find out more about LifeWave products, and now is your opportunity to ask hard questions about how well they really work.
The webinar will be held tomorrow morning - register here!
I hope to see you there!
Until next time, be well,
Dr. Stillman
Will there be a recording of the webinar? I dont wake up till 11a most days.
Wow I was shocked to read this post! I used this product years ago (maybe ten) and didn’t even realize it was still on the market. It really does work. Your explanation about on how it works makes total sense now knowing more about light therapy. Network marketing has a terrible reputation but I think it’s a great business model. You pay a little more bc unlike big pharma and the current medical matrix, everyone gets to benefit. Thanks for being willing to open new doors bc we need access to things outside the traditional medical model and we may just find it’s better.
