What helped Shari find her energy again? If you’ve been following me for a while, you can probably guess.
I met Shari in-person in Punta Mita, Mexico, on our LifeWave company incentive trip. I find her story inspiring, so I thought I would share it with you. I sat down with Shari and her husband, Al, for almost an hour to hear their story, including their own personal results, as well as heart-warming stories of friends, family members, and casual acquaintances whose lives have been changed by LifeWave products.
Shari’s story exemplifies how personal experience, combined with genuine care for others, can build a successful LifeWave business. I hope you enjoy her story as much as I did.
A Personal Health Journey
Shari's journey with LifeWave began when her longtime friend Kathleen, whom she had met back in 2012, sent her a sleeve of X39 patches. Having lost her father to acute leukemia when she was just 16, Shari has always been deeply motivated to maintain optimal health. Yet as a mother of eight children who was also helping care for five grandchildren living in her home, Shari found herself constantly fatigued.
"I was pretty worn out," Shari recalls. After consistent use of the X39 patches, Shari noticed increasing energy levels. "I forgot how good this feels to wake up refreshed—this is how I used to feel."
The changes in her daily routine were noticeable enough that her husband Al began to comment on them. She stopped taking naps and began waking up earlier. "I was going all day with that nice, steady energy," Shari explains. "I don't drink coffee anymore—I don't need the caffeine."
From Personal Experience to Sharing with Others
Initially hesitant about multi-level marketing, Shari kept her experience to herself. "I didn't want to share because I wanted to make sure it worked," she explains. Her perspective shifted at a family Thanksgiving gathering when she observed her husband's sister-in-law having difficulty walking due to knee pain.
Shari turned to her husband and said, "I gotta' say something." The next day after church, they shared the products. This became the first of many family members who would try LifeWave products, including:
Al's brother, who had been experiencing back pain and memory challenges
A sister-in-law with vertigo who found the energy patches helpful
A niece with shoulder pain from her job painting and a previous car accident
Their oldest daughter Emily, who had experienced health challenges since childhood
Building a Business
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2024, word spread quickly. Shari personally sponsored approximately 25 people, with many choosing premium packages. One of these individuals has already achieved manager status.
Shari's influence extended beyond family to community members as well. For example, when Al brought scrap metal to the local junkyard, the owner mentioned upcoming back surgery. After trying LifeWave products, the man later reported a significant reduction in his need for pain medication.
Shari and her team follow up with customers every few weeks to ensure they're having a positive experience with the products. This consistent care and attention have helped build a loyal customer base.
A Mission-Driven Approach
For Shari and Al, their LifeWave business is more than just income—it's a ministry and a way to help others while embodying their faith. "We want to help people," Shari emphasizes. "Don't hide your light, be the light, share the light."
This approach has connected them with like-minded individuals across the country, including people they've met through team member Danny McDaniel's Bible study, which they find very motivating.
Future Vision
The Wagners' future plans include using their LifeWave business to travel more extensively—particularly to Norway, Germany, Sweden, and Iceland—and creating special experiences for their 19 grandchildren.
Their success has been built on a genuine desire to help others, consistent follow-up, and sharing authentic personal experiences rather than making exaggerated claims.

I have used LifeWave personally since 2023 and for me they are a God -send. But oh my goodness. The promotional material! for a big swathe of humanity who are now struggling with health, finances and grief, that X39 video is a complete switch-off. 3 years ago I could imagine myself as that beautiful youthful powerhouse going kite-surfing. etc but now I am just incredibly grateful to wake up feeling well to have a little boogie around the kitchen. A nurse I know was very keen when I told her about LW, but went on the website and that was the last I heard. I understand how she must feel. If you have just lost your 23 year old son to turbo C, look like death warmed up yourself and are struggling to keep your little nurse clinic going, that video is probably going to upset you. I understand. Maybe that's why these things come into our path, so that we do understand. I also appreciate that David is not able to say what the patches actually do. But there must be a way of showing that they have something for everyone. Not just the young, rich and freaking gorgeous.
