DMSO has been getting a lot of attention here on Substack for its powerful healing properties. I recommend A Midwestern Doctor’s articles on it.
One of the most profound benefits of DMSO seems to be in stroke, brain injury, and neurological diseases of all kinds.
Make sure that if you are putting DMSO in any kind of container (bottles of milk, for example) that the DMSO does not melt the container. Otherwise you'll just be dissolving and administering whatever the container is made of. The DMSO Handbook recommends starting with up to 5 grams of DMSO daily.
I plan to use 5 gram daily doses of DMSO in my practice for adult patients with neurological issues (in patients over 100 pounds), and possibly higher doses in heavier patients. I would consider up to 1 gram/kg for acute neurological injuries, like stroke, but would take this on a case-by-case basis.
Where do we get DMSO? I purchase mine from The DMSO Store.
I am sure DMSO will play a great role in treating neurological injuries in the future.
Until next time, be well,
Dr. Stillman
I wondered about DMSO for your little fellow as I have also read A Midwestern Doctor’s articles. I have been using DMSO for rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammation, and it has been amazing! The inflammation in my hands and wrists has been reduced enough to be able to play the piano again after several years of inability due to RA. It has solved inflammation and pain in a knee as well. I also take about 1/4 tsp per day, and it has solved intermittent gastric problems I have had which seem to be due to supplements and meds. So thankful to hear about Benjamin’s improvements.
Praying for baby Ben. Please pray for baby Banner, 2 weeks old, who had a liver transplant and baby Brody who has a seizure disorder (1-year old)
