In my last post, I mentioned that there are really only three ways to lower your blood pressure without altering your body's autonomic nervous system.
They are sweat, urination, and bleeding. Before I discuss how we can use sweat, urination, and bleeding to lower blood pressure, I want to be very clear that no matter what you do with these three, if you have an autonomic problem, blood pressure won't drop. It's as simple as that.
So how do we lower blood pressure with sweat, urination, and bleeding? The short answer is, sauna, exercise, proper hydration and salt balance, and blood donation.
But the devil is in the details, and I do not recommend "do-it-yourself" blood pressure reduction. Blood pressure is, after all, a vital sign, and we need to be careful when we mess with vital signs. Please consult a professional and don't take my blog as medical advice.
