High blood pressure kills. If you live with high blood pressure for long enough, you're likely to suffer a stroke or heart attack. High blood pressure can also contribute to dementia, which many people are not aware of.
High blood pressure keeps close company with weight gain and diabetes. People who are metabolically broken and struggling with their weight and blood sugar are often struggling with high blood pressure as well.
How do we solve high blood pressure problems?
We have to get to the root of the problem.
Tom is a small business owner who came to me with back pain and high blood pressure. He signed up for our men's health program - Optimal Male Vitality.

Here's what was causing his blood pressure to be high:
Inadequate hydration
Mineral imbalances
Lack of sunlight

Added certain vegetables to his diet, along with mineral supplements
Sauna and more time outside
Wearing blue blockers at night to improve sleep
What happened?
His blood pressure is now normal - it has dropped by 20 points. He should start to taper his high blood pressure medications if this trend continues.
Here’s the thing.
This didn’t require any medical care on my part. What it did require was time spent with him discussing his diet and lifestyle. Because while I did outline how he changed his behavior and his diet, I can’t prescribe any specifics to you like I did to him.
Why? Because my recommendations to him were tailored to him. This required us to spend some time together working out what the right approach would be, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all program.
